Arkive ("the app") is a personal biblical research tool developed by Garrett Franks. This policy describes what data the app does and does not collect.
Data We Collect
None. Arkive does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with the developer or any third party.
iCloud Sync
If you are signed into iCloud on your device, Arkive uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your personal data — including highlights, bookmarks, notes, and study threads — across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to this data.
Bible Text & Reference Data
All Bible text, footnotes, interlinear data, and reference content are bundled within the app and stored locally on your device. No network requests are made to fetch or transmit this content.
Analytics & Advertising
Arkive contains no analytics, tracking SDKs, crash reporters, or advertising of any kind.
Children's Privacy
Arkive does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
