Tydé ("the app") is an ADHD-friendly cleaning planner developed by Garrett Franks. This policy describes what data the app does and does not collect.
Data We Collect
None. Tydé does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information with the developer or any third party.
iCloud Sync
If you are signed into iCloud on your device, Tydé uses Apple's CloudKit framework to sync your personal data — including your rooms, tasks, completion history, daily plans, brain-dump notes, and home settings — across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. The developer has no access to this data.
Photos & Camera
Tydé lets you set a custom photo background for the Today screen, using either your camera or your photo library. Any photo you choose is stored locally on your device (and synced only through your own private iCloud account, as described above) and is never transmitted to the developer or any third party.
Notifications
Tydé can send local reminders — such as a daily nudge naming today's assigned room, or an alert when a focus timer finishes. These are scheduled entirely on your device. No push notification service or external server is involved, and the developer is not notified when or whether you receive them.
Siri & Shortcuts
Tydé supports optional Siri Shortcuts (for example, asking to spin for a task or hear today's assigned room). Requests like these are handled by Apple's Siri and App Intents frameworks under Apple's Privacy Policy. Tydé does not receive, store, or transmit any voice data.
Widgets & Live Activities
Tydé's Home Screen widget and Live Activity display information such as today's assigned room using data shared only between the Tydé app and its own widget extension on your device, through a private App Group container. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to the developer.
Analytics & Advertising
Tydé contains no analytics, tracking SDKs, crash reporters, or advertising of any kind.
Third-Party Software
Tydé uses the open-source Lottie animation library to render some in-app animations. This is a local rendering library only — it does not collect or transmit any data.
Children's Privacy
Tydé does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.

License
Tydé is licensed for personal, non-commercial use on Apple devices you own or control. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or its content.
App Content
The room and task templates included in Tydé are original content created for the app, provided to help you plan and track cleaning sessions. They are for personal use only.
No Warranty
Tydé is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The developer is not liable for any loss of data or damages arising from use of the app.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
