Questions, feedback, or something not working right? Email lgfz71@gmail.com and I'll get back to you.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, and in your own private iCloud account if you're signed in, via Apple's CloudKit framework. Arkive has no servers of its own and the developer never has access to your highlights, notes or threads.

Do I need an account?

No. Arkive has no login and no account system. Sync across your devices happens automatically if you're signed into iCloud.

Does Arkive need the internet?

Only for the NASB, which is delivered online by the YouVersion Platform. The KJV, the Berean Standard Bible and every study tool work fully offline.

Can I back up my notes?

Yes. More > Export My Data saves a full copy of your highlights, bookmarks, notes and threads, as JSON and as readable Markdown.

How do I delete my data?

Deleting the app removes everything stored on that device. To also remove your synced iCloud data, go to Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Manage Account Storage > Arkive on your iPhone and delete it there, or email lgfz71@gmail.com and I can walk you through it.

I found a bug, or have a feature idea

I'd like to hear about it — email lgfz71@gmail.com with as much detail as you can (what you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead).
