By downloading or using Candidly, you agree to the following terms.
License
Candidly is licensed for use on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app.
Your Computers and Accounts
Use Candidly only to connect to computers you own or are authorized to access. You are responsible for the user names and passwords you enter, for keeping your devices secure, and for any actions you take on a remote computer while connected.
Network Security
Candidly connects to the Screen Sharing built into macOS. As described in the Privacy Policy, the screen picture and clipboard are not encrypted by that connection, so use a private network such as Tailscale or a VPN when you connect over the internet.
Purchases
Any subscriptions or in-app purchases are sold through the App Store and can be managed or cancelled in your Apple account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Third-Party Services
Candidly works with services it does not control, including macOS Screen Sharing, iCloud and any network you choose to connect through. The developer is not responsible for their availability or behavior.
No Warranty
Candidly is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. The developer is not liable for any loss of data, interruption, or damages arising from use of the app or from actions performed on a remote computer.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
